Our Foundation
First and foremost, we would like our staff to become a member of the Tidemark Foundation. All of you help make an important impact with your volunteering hours and overall commitment to our community, becoming a member of our Foundation is an extension to your commitment.
Our Mission
Through our charitable foundation, we seek opportunities to support disadvantaged children and families in the communities we serve. Whether it’s food, clothing, medical aid or other needs, the foundation exists to provide assistance through food banks, camp programs, school supply programs and financial education programs.
Vision
To be recognized as a leader in the community for helping disadvantaged children receive the resources they need to thrive.
History
In 2009 we started the Tidemark Foundation. Through our foundation, we help numerous disadvantaged middle school children in our service area with clothing, school supplies, funds for medical assistance, electricity, and holiday gifts. In cooperation with nurses and guidance counselors at these schools, we distribute over $15,000 per year in aid directly to children in need.
In addition, we operate a scholarship fund that provides college scholarships of approximately $5,000 per year. We also donate $5,000 annually to the Harry K Foundation, whose goal is to defeat child hunger in Delaware. We are the top sponsor for Easter Seals “Walk With Me Delmarva” giving $5,000 per year to help children and adults with disabilities in lower Delaware and Maryland’s eastern shore. We also have partnership with Clothing our Kids, an organization devoted to providing new clothing to elementary and middle school children in need in Sussex County, providing $8,000 per year in funding.
